Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Use are an agreement between Umut Sadıkoğlu (Toulouse, France; "we"), who provides the ScoreBil app and the scorebil.app website (the "Service"), and you, the user. You accept these terms and the Community Guidelines when you create an account. How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

ScoreBil is a free, just-for-fun prediction game in which you predict the results and scores of football matches and compete with friends and the community. ScoreBil is NOT a game of chance or a betting service: no money is staked, and no money or prize of monetary value can be won; points, badges and rankings have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. Match points are set from current data to reflect how likely each outcome is and are updated until kick-off; the points a prediction earns are the points at kick-off.

3. Account

You must be at least 16 to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your account; do not share your password. Using someone else's account, creating an account on someone else's behalf or a fake account, and playing with more than one account are prohibited. You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account.

4. Fair play

Trying to earn points with bots, automated tools, multiple accounts or other fraudulent methods, trying to bypass the Service's security, or taking unfair advantage of its bugs is prohibited. In such cases we may correct your points, suspend or close your account.

5. User content

Your username, profile photo, league names, league logos, messages and photos are your content and you are responsible for them. Your content must not infringe others' rights (copyright, personality rights, trademarks) and must follow the Community Guidelines. You grant us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to display this content in the Service to the extent necessary to provide it; this licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

6. Illegal and inappropriate content: notices and moderation

Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech, obscene or violent content, spam and sharing other people's personal information are strictly prohibited; we have zero tolerance for such content and users.

• Notices: you can report an inappropriate message or photo by long-pressing it, and report or block a user from the menu on their profile. People without an account can also report content they believe to be illegal, with their reasons, to destek@scorebil.app.
• Review: we review reports diligently and impartially by human review within 24 hours at the latest. A league chat message reported by three different users whose accounts are at least one week old is hidden automatically until the review is complete; apart from this, no automated decisions are taken about content.
• Measures: we remove content that breaks the rules and, depending on the severity and repetition of the violation, warn the user, suspend their account temporarily or close it permanently. In serious cases (e.g. threats, child abuse) the account is closed immediately and, where necessary, reported to the competent authorities. We may temporarily stop processing reports from users who frequently submit manifestly unfounded reports.
• Reasons and appeals: we tell you the outcome of your report in the App. If your content is removed or your account is restricted, we tell you why. You can appeal the decision by writing to destek@scorebil.app; we will review your appeal and tell you the outcome. Your right to go to court is not affected.

7. Paid features

The core game is free and the service shows ads (as described in the Privacy Policy). Paid options that may be offered in the future, such as "Ad-free", only remove ads and give no advantage in points, predictions or rankings. If a paid option is offered, its price, duration, renewal and cancellation terms and information about the right of withdrawal will be shown clearly before purchase; purchases and refunds are also subject to App Store / Google Play rules.

8. Match data and intellectual property

Match, score and statistics information comes from an external data provider and may be delayed or contain errors. Matches are scored on the official result; for matches that go to extra time or penalties, the result at the end of normal time (90 minutes plus stoppage time) counts. We reserve the right to correct scoring if an obvious error is found. Club, league and competition names and kits belong to their owners; ScoreBil is not affiliated with or endorsed by these organisations. The design, software, scoring system, name and logo of the Service belong to us.

Copying the Service or its content (including rankings, statistics, prediction distributions and points) without permission, collecting it in bulk with automated tools, reverse engineering it, trying to extract its source code, accessing its servers without authorisation, or using any of these for a similar or competing service is prohibited, except where mandatory law allows it.

9. Availability and liability

We provide the Service with care but cannot guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors. We may change, add or remove features; we will announce material changes in advance. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service. This limitation does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence or for injury to life, body or health, nor your rights under consumer law.

10. Suspension and termination

If you breach these terms or the Community Guidelines, we may suspend or close your account in proportion to the severity of the breach and will tell you why. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will announce it reasonably in advance.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring disputes before the courts and consumer bodies of your place of residence (in Turkey including consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts). If you have a problem, please write to destek@scorebil.app first; most issues can be solved quickly this way.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the App before they take effect and ask for your acceptance; if you do not accept, you can delete your account.
